The whole body screening technology is based on the slot-scanning principle, where the person is inspected by a narrow transmitting x-ray beam with very low intensity. Due to its extremely low radiation dose, this is the only technology which can be applied for personal inspection with the possibility to detect items, concealed inside the body.

The uniSCAN CONPASS SMART DV Whole Body Scanner is a dual view system that has built-in privacy software and comes in either a cabin or gate version. Further the system has 3 different scan settings and are fully software compatible with most access control systems.
